Corkscrew has been a symbol of many different historical ages. The first appearance of this object is in the far XIII century. From a simple tool to a luxury object made with precious metals for the noble society, during the century corkscrew is evolved in style, functions and aesthetic.

Easy Pro, designed by BCF, is a professional corkscrew. A tool of unique design, studied to make easy uncap of bottles thanks to the wide metal lever.
We have asked to Lisa Cozzi, designer of BCF few question about this tool and she told us the story behind Easy Pro.
How it began the project for EasyPro?
The project of Easy Pro is a patent by Claudio Burato, a chef that invented the corkscrew with long lewer, an innovative tool that makes uncap of bottles easier.
Burato and the company Ghidini give to BCF Studio the study of design.
What is the different between Easy Pro and a traditional Corkscrew?
Easy Pro has a double lever that is longer of the ones that we can find usually. This makes easier the sommelier to uncap the wine bottles.
The other feature is the “worm”(metal helix), the part that enter in the cork of the bottle, the design of this element prevent the user to touch it, that makes the uncap easier and safer.
What will be most appreciated to sommelier and wine lovers about Easy Pro?
The most important feature is the design of the “worm”. The design of Easy Pro makes easier to manage and uncap bottles.
